The E Cropped JKT 2.0 embodies Professor.E’s philosophy of “forgotten materials”—giving fabrics new life. Constructed from layers of vintage cloth, the jacket is reinforced with sashiko stitching and cut into a cropped silhouette. Its fabric originated as a futon in a rural Japanese household, later dismantled and reimagined as only two garments—one held by Ura219’s store manager, and the other, this Komune-exclusive piece.

About
Ken Rao founded Taiwanese label Professor E. in 2017. Under the principle of intersection, Professor E. applies artisanal fabrication methods to casual silhouettes, draws inspiration from Eastern and Western visual aesthetics, and reinterprets popular styles with traditional design tenets.
Professor E frequently utilizes cotton and hemp, along with fabric stitching and patching. Deconstruction is a signature element, used to emulate artisanal craftsmanship. The brand offers a variety of outerwear, tops, pants, and accessories.
