Description
Ken and the PE team initially designed the jacket to test various suit silhouettes. Although they personally liked the pattern, they were unsure if their audience would share their appreciation. Now, they have reintroduced it, using the sashiko embellishments as foreshadowing for Professor.E’s SS25 collection, which shares an emphasis on repairs.

About
Ken Rao founded Taiwanese label Professor E. in 2017. Under the principle of intersection, Professor E. applies artisanal fabrication methods to casual silhouettes, draws inspiration from Eastern and Western visual aesthetics, and reinterprets popular styles with traditional design tenets.
Professor E frequently utilizes cotton and hemp, along with fabric stitching and patching. Deconstruction is a signature element, used to emulate artisanal craftsmanship. The brand offers a variety of outerwear, tops, pants, and accessories.
