In 2024, Genève-Florence dropped out of her BFA to pursue her eponymous label. She designs from her atelier in Montreal, where she also sources all of her fabric. In just one year, Genève-Florence has crafted a distinct visual identity, consisting of bold ruching and sheer textures. Genève-Florence approaches her pieces with a sculptor's mindset, resulting in shapes that feel carved, too defined to be fabric. Yet, she frequently leaves her seems unfinished.
