About SF1OG
Based in Berlin, SF1OG is led by Rosa Marga Dahl and Jacob Langemeyer, who founded the label while studying fashion in university. Their practice emphasizes antique, unpretentious materials, reflecting a commitment to modest origins and honest history. The name itself—an anagram of Sidewing First Floor—recalls the one-room Berlin flat where the brand began. With several runways to date, SF1OG has quickly emerged as a bastion of German craftsmanship on the Berlin Fashion Week circuit.
The Process
SF1OG collaborated with their Italian leather manufacturer to source a distinctive vegetable-tanned pull-up leather. Martin—Komune's store manager—assisted in the color selection! The jacket was then crafted in Italy by a small, family-run atelier.
