Venice's 1st Ave (Celestial Tissue) is an ode to Venice's first fashion collection "CityThat$neezZZALot!". Venice's anthropomorphism also serves as a personal tribute: a thank-you to tissues themselves, inspired by her mother's constant use and her father's frequent sneezing.

Designer Venice Wanakornkul founded her namesake label in 2018 after completing her MFA at Parsons. VeniceW pieces draw on the playful spirit of cosplay, featuring bulging eyes, winged forms, and a general whimsical irreverence. Sometimes, it's nice to see a brand that is unafraid to be a little less serious :p
