The Work Explained
This set was one of Charlie’s first designs. He was tasked to recreate it, without the original garment—so he worked off of reference images and memory. The use of nylon, and garment-dyed coloration, ties the reworked design into his current language while preserving the experimental energy of the original.

About Charlie Constantinou
Charlie Constantinou founded his eponymous label after completing his MA in fashion design at Central Saint Martins in 2022. His design practice is built on adaptability and function. His work draws from extreme weather conditions, creating outré garments—organic, structured, bulky, and fitted all at once.
The Process
Working from images of his old design, Constantinou re-patterned the jacket with a more precise cut, aligning it with his current design language. The garments were produced in nylon, sewn, and then garment-dyed to achieve a lived-in, utilitarian finish. The result merges his early student work with the technical refinement of his present practice.

"I wanted to work on this piece to take a quick break from the chaos of trying to finish off a new collection for LFW next month. It was really refreshing to just work on a single piece again without the worry of a broader scale. Plus we love Komune !!"
